Nikon will present a new color version of its popular, easy-to-use Nikon F50 35mm (135) format AF SLR : the Nikon silver-finish F50/F50D.

- Six-segment 3D Matrix Metering system (with D-type* AF Nikkor lens) assures that the desired effect is attained in a wide variety of lighting situations, including backlit scenes.
- Built-in TTL Speedlight (illumination angle covers the image angle of 35mm lens).
Note : All product specifications, including those listed above, but excluding the silver-finish body's color, are identical to those for the Nikon black-finish F50/F50D that was introduced in 1994.

An internal encoder is linked to the lens focusing ring, and transmits the shooting distance to the camera body automatically.
