Oct. 1997

6x15M CF

A strong spirit of innovation assures that at Nikon, time never stands still. Nevertheless, Nikon still refer to a fabled heritage that continues to inspire.

In their day, the Nikon 6x15M CF compact binoculars were a classic.
Thanks to new issue of the 6x15M CF, Nikon is assuring that they will continue to be, offering 6x high-precision magnification and metal exterior that are as timelessly elegant today as they were when the model named " MIKRON " in Japanese market was first introduced in 1921.
Back then, the binoculars quickly became renowned for ultra-compact, high-performance porro-prism design that continued to evolve until 1974, when the model was retired from the market.

Until now. The newly reborn Nikon 6x15M CF has been carefully crafted to update the original design with various enhancements to high-precision performance that accommodate the requests of binocular lovers and collectors.

Nikon`s origins as a binocular manufacturer go back even further to the founding of the Nippon Kogaku K.K. in 1917.
The company`s heritage has been a proud one characterized by industry-leading achievement.
That is why the 6x15M CF binoculars prominently feature Nikon`s" SINCE 1917 " engravement stamp.
