Sep. 1997

Nuvis 110i

Nikon Corporation have released the Nikon Nuvis 110i zoom compact camera in 1997, featuring a 2.8x zoom lens in a stylish Advanced Photo System (IX240) camera body.

Major features

  1. Basic features of new IX240 system
    Easy loading

Loading Advanced Photo System (IX240 format) film is incredibly easy. Simply snap open the cartridge cover on the camera base, drop in a cartridge, and snap the cover shut.
A safety lock prevents you from accidentally opening the cover and ruining your film.

    Choice of three print types

    H (image height : width ratio is about 9 : 16)
    C (about 2 : 3)
    P (about 1 : 3)
Select the print type that best suits your scene and subject. For added convenience, an indexed contact print sheet is provided to the customer along with the developed film.

    Printable dates and titles*1

You can print out the year, month, date --- even the hour and minute --- on front and/or back of the print.
Also, any one of 31 titles, including "BIRTHDAY", "SCHOOL EVENT", "CONGRATULATIONS" or"I LOVE YOU", can be selected and entered to appear in any of 12 languages.

  2. 2.8x zoom lens expands range of application
The 2.8x power zoom lens covers the range from 30 to 85mm (37.5 to 106mm if converted to 35mm [135] format camera terms).
  3. Stylish silver-colored body
The 2.8x zoom lens is protected by the unique body's streamlined sliding lens cover. When the lens cover opens, the metal nameplate on the lens shines bright.
  4. Handy remote controller for self-portraits (optional)
The infrared remote controller (effective range: 5m /16 ft.) is ideal for commemorative shots and self-portraits.
