In 1998-09 Nikon Corporation introduces portable high-performance "5×15 Monocular HG" with 5× magnification, metal body, multilayer coated lenses, and superior light transmission for extraordinarily bright, clear images.

Nikon 5×15 Monocular HG 's qualities make the monocular suitable for various uses --- outdoors, at theaters, concerts and museums, and for business, to see projected images at convention halls, for example.
