Introducing Nikon 8×30EII / 10×35EII Binoculars

Jan. 2000

8x30EII

Nikon Corporation is pleased to inform you that 8×30EII / 10×35EII binoculars will be available from January, 2000.

Production of the 7×35E / 8×30E / 10×35E has been discontinued and they are no longer available from Nikon.

Nikon's 8×30EII / 10×35EII, quality bird watching binoculars offer wider field of view (apparent field of view : 70 degrees), longer eye relief, and closer focusing distance than current E-type binoculars. All the lens and prisms of "EII" binoculars are multilayer coated, maximizing light transmission to provide the brightest, clearest images possible and minimizing reflection to prevent ghosting and flare. Magnesium (Mg) alloy bodies offer an excellent combination of light weight and durable strength.

Please also note that "EII" binoculars employ "eco-glass" which contains no arsenic and lead in order to protect the environment.

We are sure that the new 8×30EII / 10×35EII binoculars will attract many people in the field with their outstanding optical performance.
