From September 2 (Fri.) to September 7 (Wed.), Nikon (Nikon Europe B.V.) will participate in "Internationale Funkaustellung (IFA) 2005," the world's leading consumer electronics fair held in Berlin, Germany.
At the show, Nikon plans to showcase the latest COOLPIX compact digital camera series COOLPIX P1, COOLPIX P2, COOLPIX S3, COOLPIX S4, COOLPIX L1. Providing versatility far in advance of any previous compact camera, the COOLPIX P1 and COOLPIX P2 have the added advantage of built-in Wi-Fi LAN support (IEEE802.11b/g) to realize new picture-taking potential that does away with the need for inconvenient wires and cables. Nikon plans demonstrations of these latest cameras at IFA 2005 to showcase Nikon's advanced wireless transmission technology.
The latest digital SLRs will also be on display, including cameras such as the D2X, which won Europe's prestigious award "EISA European Professional Camera of the Year 2005 - 2006," the D70s, which features multiple internal and external refinements of the 2004 award-winning D70, and the latest D50, which has a smaller lighter body, easy-to-use features and functions, and a newly added "Child" mode.
Nikon will also introduce its Nikkor lenses, Speedlights, system accessories, and software at the show.
