Product Name ECLIPSE MA100N Inverted Metallurgical Microscope
Availability From early April 2017

Product Concept

In recent years, the demand for sample observation and inspection, as well as image data storage and analysis, is increasing in the automotive, electronic, and metal component manufacturing industries. Nikon has developed a compact and easy-to-operate inverted metallurgical microscope to improve the operational efficiency of manufacturing.

Key Features

1. Superior Operability

New component designs, such as the stage handle and aperture diaphragm, allow intuitive operation by users.

2. Compact Space-saving Model

The installation footprint of the new ECLIPSE MA100N is 11% smaller than that of the previous models. Users can install the microscope in locations that cannot accommodate conventional models, expanding its range of applications.

3. LED Illumination

LED illumination reduces energy consumption to 15W, one third of conventional halogen illumination. Further, LED increases illumination lifetime to 30,000 hours, approximately 30 times longer than halogen, reducing the need for frequent lamp replacement. The low variation in color temperature of LED enables stable observation.
