Nikon has recently discovered that with certain units of biological microscopes Eclipse E100 and E200 series,the lamp output voltage may not rise to rating.
The light intensity is enough for bright field observation, but may not be enough for phase contrast observation. If you feel the illumination is not bright enough, please contact your nearest Nikon representative or customer service center shown below.
Even if the product is already out of warranty, Nikon will offer a free replacement of parts.
Please note that this defect dose not directly lead to decrease of product safety.
