This year marks the 31st Semicon Japan exhibition and this year's show promises to be the largest yet, with record spaces of more than 4,538 exhibitions last year. This year's event will feature exhibitions of more than 1,500 companies from countries and regions worldwide, over 30 seminars and more than 70 standard conferences to become an international exhibition that will bring together the latest technology from around the world. A total of approximately 100,000 visitors from countries and regions around the world attended during last year's 3-day exhibition. Since its launch of the world's first stepper in 1980, Nikon has been ceaselessly engaged in research and development of new technology and the further refinement of its nano-technology to support the manufacture of ICs, a field characterized by rapidly advancing miniaturization. Nikon is committed to the continued development of super-precision technology to provide support for the development of increasingly sophisticated information society.
