Will ensure you much better viewing than ever before.
1. Setting the eyecup
<Setting the rubber eyecup>
Fold back the rubber eyecup.
Set the rubber eyecup up.
<Setting turn-and-slide rubber eyecup>
Turn clockwise to fully retracted position.
Turn counterclockwise to the fully extended position.
Once the rubber eyecup has been correctly set, you can use the binoculars to provide a sufficient field of view without any vignetting at the best suited eyepoint whether or not you wear eyeglasses.
2. Adjustment of interpupillary distance
1. While you look at a distance object, carefully move the binocular tubes downward or upward. (Photos are simulations for illustration purposes only)
2. Stop moving the binocular tubes when both fields are correctly aligned, forming a perfect circle. (Photos are simulations for illustration purposes only)
If interpupillary distance has not been properly adjusted, the image might give you an uncomfortable feeling.
3. Diopter adjustment
1. First look trough the left eyepiece with your left eye and turn the central focusing ring to focus on a distant object.
2. Then look through the right eyepiece with your right eye, rotating the diopter adjustment ring to focus on the same object.
First set the magnification to its maximum then adjust the diopter when using zoom binoculars. Making a diopter adjustment is also needed if there is a difference in visual acuity between your left and right eyes.
4. Focusing on the object
Now you can focus on any distant object by just turning the central focusing ring for both the right and left eyepieces simultaneously.
Never look at the sun directly. Doing so may seriously damage the eyes.
