Nikkor Club Tokyo Grand Photo Session

In the Spring of 1968, more than 6,000 Nikon fans gathered at the Hayama Marina located in Kanagawa Prefecture. The photo session garnered momentum with a number of interesting events from photography instruction sessions by leading professional photographers to model photo shoots, even photography workshops using telephoto lenses and Nikonos. Out of a desire to somehow reward users of Nikon cameras and NIKKOR lenses, Nikon formed the Nikkor Club with the purpose of promoting communications between Nikon enthusiasts, boost international exchange, and foster interaction of ideas through the study of works. The attitude of the club towards the culture of imaging, and the people who love Nikon and NIKKOR, has not changed for more than half a century since its establishment.
