Product Security Initiatives

The Nikon Group defines "product security" as activities that implement security measures throughout the entire lifecycle of its products and services. To coordinate these activities, the Nikon Group has established its product security incident response team, called "Nikon-PSIRT."

In accordance with our "Vulnerability Handling Process," we gather vulnerability information from both internal and external sources and assess its impact on our products and services.
Based on the results of this assessment, we promptly respond to vulnerabilities in our products and services, and coordinate with relevant security authorities and customers to prevent security incidents. When necessary, we publish information about vulnerabilities in our products and services on our website.

If a security incident related to our products and services occurs, we will coordinate with relevant security authorities and customers in each country or industry, implement corrective measures, and take actions to prevent recurrence.
