Participation in Earth Hour,
the World’s Largest Lights-Off Event
What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour is an environmental event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), a global conservation organization active in more than 100 countries. People around the world turn off their lights at the same time on the same day to show their commitment to protecting the planet. Earth Hour began in Australia in 2007 and has since grown into one of the world’s largest environmental events.
