PROSTAFF P7 10x50
February. 17, 2026
TOKYO - Nikon Vision Co., Ltd., (Nikon Vision), a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation (Nikon), is pleased to announce the release of new binocular models, the PROSTAFF P7 10x50 and 12x50. These models expand the lineup of the PROSTAFF P7 series, which has been on the market since June 2022.
Despite featuring large 50mm objective lenses, the PROSTAFF P7 10x50 and 12x50 overcome the common challenge of increased weight typically associated with larger lens diameters, thanks to refined optical design and structural engineering. As a result, they achieve the lightest weight in their class* among 50mm objective lens binoculars (630g for the PROSTAFF P7 10x50, and 645g for the PROSTAFF P7 12x50).
In addition, the large-diameter objective lenses deliver high light-gathering capability and resolution, producing a realistic and dynamic viewing experience. The 12x50 model, in particular, features a wide apparent field of view of over 60 degrees, allowing users to enjoy an immersive and expansive field of view. With these additions, the PROSTAFF P7 series now offers an even broader range of options to suit viewing preferences and various usages.
As with other models in the PROSTAFF P7 series, these binoculars employ dielectric high-reflective multilayer coating and phase-correction coating, with multilayer coating applied to all lenses and prisms. This ensures they deliver a bright and clear field of view.
In addition, these binoculars are equipped with highly practical features, including oil- and water-repellent coating that resists smudges and dirt, as well as a dioptre adjustment ring locking system that prevents unintentional movement during use.
Ideal for a wide range of applications such as birdwatching, other outdoor activities, stargazing, and marine use, the PROSTAFF P7 10x50 and 12x50 are recommended for users who wish to enjoy immersive viewing experiences with ease.
