Received Highest MSCI ESG Rating of AAA for the Fourth Consecutive Year

TOKYO - Nikon Corporation (Nikon) is pleased to announce that it received the highest ESG Rating of AAA from MSCI for the fourth consecutive year as of 2026. MSCI ESG Research provides MSCI ESG Ratings on global public and a few private companies on a scale of AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard), according to exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers.
In this Rating, Nikon was evaluated for its initiatives, such as Controversial Sourcing and Corporate Governance.
Nikon also has been selected for all ESG indices* adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) targeting domestic stocks.
