TOKYO – The Nikon Photo Contest International 2010-2011, the world's largest international photo contest, began accepting entries on September 1, 2010. As of the afternoon of November 30 (Tuesday), the entry deadline, an overwhelming number of entries being submitted via the Internet from all over the world have overloaded the photo contest entry system, sometimes preventing access to entry pages.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused those attempting to submit entries in the Nikon Photo Contest International 2010-2011.
As a result, Nikon Corporation has decided to respond to the incredible number of entries in the Nikon Photo Contest International 2010-2011 by extending the entry deadline.
Nikon Photo Contest International 2010-2011 web site will be updated in the near future, and as needed thereafter, to provide information on the status of the online entry system (access capability) as well as with details regarding the new entry deadline.
